Deposit Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team at United Texas Bank. The Deposit Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our deposit-related processes. This position requires a strong understanding of banking operations, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service. This position reports onsite at our north Dallas office.

What You'll Do:

  • Process chargeback items, balance general ledger, large dollar verification, non-post items, stop payments and daily reports such as ACH, closed accounts, dormant accounts, file maintenance and stop payments.
  • Prepare adjustments for encoding errors, fraudulent items, and duplicate presentments.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Conduct yearly unclaimed property reporting.
  • Review online banking messages.
  • Account research
  • Treasury Management implementation and support

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in banking operations, with a focus on deposit-related activities.
  • Strong understanding of deposit products, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software. 
  • Working knowledge of Regulation E, Regulation CC, Federal Reserve Board: Regulation J – Compliance Guide and others as needed.
  • Must have Treasury Management experience.
