What We're Looking:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to join our team as the Loan Operations Manager. The Loan Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our loan operations processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the day-to-day activities of the loan operations team including loan processing documentation, and disbursement.
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of all lending products including but not limited to C&I, CRE, construction and equipment financing.
- Review loan approvals to ensure compliance with policies and procedures before closing/disbursing loan funds.
- Maintain expert knowledge in loan quality control items.
- Provide continuous communication both internally and externally to ensure consistent quality of work and streamline processes.
- Respond to various internal and external inquiries, including examiners and vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including lending, risk management, and compliance, to streamline processes and improve overall loan operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of loan operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the loan operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years proven experience in loan operations.
- 10+ years' experience in the banking industry.
- Expert knowledge of loan processing, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Must have C&I, CRE, construction and equipment loan experience.
- 7+ years supervisory experience.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze information and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake systems highly desired.
- Proficient use of MS Office items.
